SCHOOL ADMISSIONS

The Chief Executive of Leeds City Council makes all offers of a school place for Reception and Year 7 places on behalf of Queensway School, which is the admissions authority. Headteachers or school-based staff are not authorised to offer a child a place for these year groups. The authority to convey the offer of a place has been delegated to schools for places in other year groups.

Foundation Stage (Reception)

Children generally start full-time school in the September following their fourth birthday.  School adopt the Leeds City Council Admissions Policy and all admissions into Foundation Stage (Reception) are managed by Leeds City Council Admissions Team.  https://www.leeds.gov.uk/schools-and-education/school-admissions/apply-for-a-primary-school 

In-Year Transfers

Children with a statement of special educational needs will be admitted to the school named on their statement/EHCP.
